Finance for non Finance managers
OVERVIEW AND SCOPE
The aim of this seminar is to introduce the basic concepts and tools of accounting and finance to non-financial managers.
Learning Objectives:
- Read and interpret the basic financial statements of a firm.
- Assess the financial health of the company and estimate its financial position in the near future.
- Measure the impact of company decisions on value creation and identify various trade-offs at a strategic level.
- Make sound investment decisions (acquisition of assets/capital budgeting).
CONTENT AND FLOW
At the end of this seminar, participants should be able to understand and effectively communicate important business decisions in financial terms and assess their impact on the company's performance. The teaching method includes lecture notes, numerical examples, and practice tests.

- Executives and professionals in mid to senior level positions in with roles that involves responsibility for organisational and/or financial performance.
- Executives who do not have a financial background but whose careers would benefit from more effective understanding of the financial drivers of organisational success
