Kostis has been teaching courses on Quantitative Methods, Decision Analysis, Business Statistics, Risk Management and Financial Modelling to MBA students and business executives at London Business School, City University Business School (where he received the MBA teaching award) and at ALBA Graduate Business School. He holds a Ph.D. in Decision Sciences from London Business School, an M.Sc. in Mathematics & Operations Research from the London School of Economics and a ΒΑ in Mathematics & Computer Science from Swarthmore College. His research has been published in the Telecommunications Policy, the Journal of the Operational Research Society and Technological Forecasting & Social Change. He is currently Director of Finance at the private equity firm Curzon Consulting. Before that he was Director of Consulting Services at Velti SA, the first Greek technology firm to list in the AIM of London Stock Exchange, and also worked at McKinsey & Co with telecoms and financial services clients. Research and teaching interests include regulation, "big data" and health care. He has extensive consulting experience in financial services, telecommunications and media. He sat on the board of the GreekEnergy regulator from 2007 to 2009.
