This intensive 8-hour course is tailored for professionals looking to broaden their leadership skills through a deeper understanding of the interplay between psychological safety and our intrinsic biological sense of safety, inspired by the transformative Polyvagal Theory (Porges, 1995).
As participants explore the biological roots of safety, they will comprehend the physiological processes that shape human actions and emotions, and how these are interconnected with the idea of psychological safety. This understanding will provide participants with tools to identify and manage these reactions in themselves and their teams effectively.
Α primary objective of this course is to nurture empathetic, conscious, and successful leaders. Leaders who can comprehend not only their own but also their teams' unconscious reactions to various scenarios, and who can adeptly steer these situations to enhance a sense of safety and boost overall team performance.

This course integrates experiential learning with theory. Participants will have the opportunity to both witness and experiment with bodily reactions that link to safety and enhance safety & regulation, as well as dysregulating experiences that threaten internal & interpersonal equilibrium. The course emphasizes the power of learning by doing, featuring group activities designed to help participants develop tactics to cultivate safe, efficient work environments.
