Our own Alexandros Glykas & Maria Progoulaki will serve as speakers at the “4th Trading in U.S. Waters Seminar: Future Trends and Innovations in the Maritime Sector,” event, organized by the American-Hellenic Chamber of Commerce and the North American Marine Environment Protection Association’s (“NAMEPA”) take place -as part of Posidonia-  on Thursday, June 6, 2024, from 10:30 a.m. to 5:00 The seminar is organized in cooperation with the U.S. Embassy in Athens. 

More specifically, Maria Progoulaki will participate in Session 2 (14.30 – 15.15) to discuss about trends and opportunities in maritime employment and right after (15.15 – 16.00) Alexandros Glykas will share his expertise about the challenges and opportunities of the digitalization in the Maritime Industry.

On top of all these, Dr Kelly Gerakoudi from of the School of Business and Economics, Department of Management and International Business at Deree, will moderate a dynamic panel discussion on Crew Insights. The discussion to take place on June 4 will be focusing on the facets of crew management and HR within the shipping industry.
