The effect of organizational culture on the readiness of Greek companies for flexible work arrangements

Back in April 2019 Alba conducted a research on behalf of the GMPA with the support of ACEO, in the aim to study the perceptions of business executives about the upcoming changes in the nature of work. Although the nightmarish pandemic scenario was nowhere to be seen a year ago, what the participants foresaw is now – although temporarily – a reality. The study pointed our that the readiness of Greek companies to experiment with flexible forms of employment was average – let alone their preparedness for implementation on a large scale. And this is where the organizational culture emerged as a limiting factor.
