A new era or a total restart? Dean K. Axarloglou shares his insights about the post COV-19 era in education, in George Kourkouta's special section about industries that were most affected by the epidecim at Startupper mag.

"The COVID-19 pandemic has disrupted the way we communicate, work, move, create value, learn, and interact with our surroundings. In essence, it has brought back the distance between us without negating human needs like that of learning. The experience of remote education and learning as we are all living it shows the great value of face-to-face teaching as well as the value of distance learning. As a result, in the near future, the successful educational system will adopt a learning model that will include processes and characteristics stemming from both models of learning and simultaneously combine directness in communication and co-learning through interaction with fellow students and instructors – advantages which face-to-face learning can offer with the flexibility and closing of the distance of remote learning. Thus, it will better serve learning and individuals themselves. "
