Lars Häggström

Lars works as a Senior Advisor at IMD focusing on driving large-scale change in global organizations. Lars is also a recognized expert in Human Resources (HR), and especially Leadership, Culture and Capability Building. Before joining IMD, Lars was the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) at renewable materials giant Stora Enso. Prior, Lars held the same positions at Nordea and Gambro. Lars has also worked internationally, in the UK and US, being responsible for Leadership and Sales & Marketing Development for Europe, and later HR for Latin America for Eli Lilly & Co., one of the world’s largest pharmaceutical companies. Lars’ passion is to support organizations in driving transformation, focusing on leadership and culture, and in building required capabilities. At IMD he acts as a speaker in open and customized programs, like Transition to Business Leadership and customized programs for companies like Valmet, Fortum, Borealis and others. As a consultant, he has supported clients like DSV, Siemens, Team Tankers, and Terre des Hommes. He’s also a senior coach to several executives, focusing on Transformation through Leadership and Culture.
