Dr. John W. Cadogan is a Professor of Marketing at the University of Leicester School of Business, where he also serves as a Board Member of the University’s Commercial Performance Board, and is Editor-in-Chief of the International Marketing Review. His teaching and research interests span international marketing strategy, global entrepreneurship, salespeople and sales management, consumer behavior, and measurement in marketing research. Dr. Cadogan's research has been widely recognized, with findings published in leading journals such as the Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science, Journal of International Business Studies, Journal of Business Venturing, British Journal of Management, and Journal of Product Innovation Management, among others. He has received multiple awards for his research from leading marketing academies (eg American Marketing Association, European Marketing Academy), and scholarly journals (eg Managing Service Quality, European Journal of Marketing), as well as recognition for lifetime contributions to Marketing Trends Research. Dr. Cadogan is currently a Visiting Professor at institutions including LUT University and the University of Eastern Finland, and he has held visiting roles at leading universities in China, Slovenia, Greece, Italy, the UK and Japan. In 2024, he was named among the world’s top 2% of marketing scientists based on citations, underscoring his impactful contributions to the field.
