Nikolas Smyrlakis

Dr. Smyrlakis completed his PhD in Management at Bocconi University in Milan. His research lies at the interesection of organizational social networks, organizational behaviour and leadership and has been awarded by ASSIOA (Associazione Italiana di Organizzazione Aziendale - Association of Italian Organization Studies Academics). He has presented in various conferences such as the Academy of Management (AoM), Strategic Management Society (SMS), European Group of Organizational Studies (EGOS) and others. Dr. Smyrlakis also holds a Diploma in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the National Technical University of Athens and has research experience at the European Space Agency in the Netherlands. The last years he went back to his “roots” in Greece and co-founded Roots Spirits, an innovative premium spirits range, with exports in more than 20 countries (Stelios HajiIoannou Awards for Young Entrepreneurs in Greece 2016) and Nomada Honey Soda (Hellenic Entrepreneurship Award, Libra group / Envolve 2017). Nikolas is a business mentor at start-up incubators in Greece (Orange Grove, ACEin), as well as co-founder of other start-up projects.
