Mr. Alexopoulos has more than 15 years of professional experience in shipping, banking and maritime finance. He is Managing Director of the Athens office of Eurofin Group; a ship-financing boutique with offices in London, Athens and Singapore. He is responsible for the Group’s ship financing operations in Greece and is a key part of the Eurofin team, which acts as a Consultant to KfW IPEX-Bank for its Greek debt shipping portfolio. He has also worked for Laiki Bank in Cyprus, Golden Union Shipping Co. and Carriers Chartering S.A. in Piraeus and Angus Graham & Partners in London. He is a speaker on ship finance at Conferences globally. He is a visiting lecturer on Shipping Finance and Maritime Economics at the ALBA Graduate Business School in Athens and at the Henley Business School of Reading University. He is also a Consultant on Shipping Finance to the World Maritime University (WMU), of the International Maritime Organisation (IMO), in Malmo, Sweden and a co-author of shipping finance books. He holds an MSc in Shipping, Trade and Finance from Cass Business School, in London and a BSc in Economics and Business Economics from Southampton University.
