designed and orchestrated by Alba Executive Development in collaboration with the Democritus University - Department of Physical Education and Sports Science
About the Initiative
This is the third class of the Learning Series, that was initially launched in June 2022. The program is addressed to Greek public high school students in the area of Thrace (Komotini), who wish to develop a set of skills and competencies that will assist them to build the foundations for their future to prepare for careers in the era of digitalization and disruption. The special theme for this year is embracing a diversity and inclusion mindset for the future of work.
CONTENT AND FLOW
The Program, aspires to empower high school students with:
- The values, competencies, habits and behaviors that fuel a diversity and inclusion mindset for a flourishing personal, professional and community future: Trust, empathy, collaboration, respect, fair play, creativity and learnability.
- The learning context and stimuli to embrace, develop and diffuse a mindset that appreciates diversity and invests on the power of diversification and difference
- The opportunity to develop self-awareness and to discover our unique characteristics, strengths and potential
- The skills to imagine, compose, design and propose strategies, practices and tactics for diveτrsity and inclusion in educational, organizational and community contexts
- A lifelong attitude towards physical and mental wellness and well - being.
LEARNER'S PROFILE
- public high school students ages 14-17
- active, caring, curious learners who wish to share their passion for learning and growing.
FACULTY
The workshops are delivered by a group of academics, as well as of experienced and successful professionals and facilitators of diverse background that share a passion for excellence in their field of expertise.
