RCI 2009 - The Labor Market Barometer awaits your contribution once more!

Thursday, 14/05/2009

We invite all companies to participate in the 2nd round (second half) of the Recruitment Confidence Index 2009. The results of the 2nd half of 2009 will be announced in July, while the survey will be open during the period May-June. The 2009 RCI is carried out with the support of ECDL Hellas, while the Special Theme of the survey titled ‘The Financial Crisis and its Repercussions’ is sponsored by Accor Services

The findings of the Recruitment Confidence Index survey for the 1st half of 2009 showed reduction trends in all recruiting processes as well as in the number of employees, salary increases of no more than 4%, fear for the repercussions of the financial crisis, but also optimism for the future of Greek enterprises.

The results of the first half of 2009 were presented on January 15, during a special event organized by ALBA, attended by Mrs. Fani Palli-Petralia, Minister of Employment and Social Security as well as several General Managers and HR Directors of Greek companies. The survey is carried out by the Applied Research & Innovation Department of ALBA Graduate Business School.

RCI has been established as the Barometer for the Greek Labor Market. The Index has proven to be a powerful business and management decision tool. The main objective of the survey, which takes place every 6 months, is to explore the companies’ perceptions regarding their recruitment processes and methodologies as well as the market trends.

Μore than 500 companies and organizations have participated in the survey since its launch in Greece (2006).  We believe – thanks to You – that this sample will constantly grow giving each time an even more representative snapshot of the Greek Labor Market.
