Labor Market Trends and Prospects - Recruitment Confidence Index survey 2010

Wednesday, 19/05/2010

All companies are invited to participate in the 2nd round (2nd half) of
the Recruitment Confidence Index 2010 online survey

The results will be announced in the beginning of July 2010, while the survey will be open during the period May-June. The 2010 Recruitment Confidence Index (RCI) is sponsored by ECDL Hellas and supported by SQLearn, while Eurobank Business Services sponsors the Special Theme of the survey entitled ‘Best Practices for Dealing with the Financial Crisis’.

In January 2010, the findings of the RCI survey showed that 40% of the Greek companies reduced their number of employees during the second half of 2009, while 1 out of 4 are planning to do so during the first 2 quarters of 2010. What remains to be seen, is whether these projections will prove to be true.

RCI has been established as the Barometer for the Greek Labor Market. The Index has become a powerful business and management decision tool. The main objective of the survey, which takes place every 6 months, is to explore the companies’ perceptions regarding their recruitment processes and methodologies as well as the market trends.

More than 600 companies and organizations since its beginning in Greece (2006) have participated in the survey.  We believe – thanks to You – that this sample will constantly grow giving each time an even more representative snapshot of the Greek Labor Market.
