Eurobank announces the introduction of the George K. Gontikas scholarship, in collaboration with ALBA Graduate Business School at the American College of Greece. Scholarship will cover 100% of tuition fees of the Postgraduate Program MSc in Finance.
Scholarship refers to the academic year 2015-2016 and the deadline for submission of applications is set for May 31st, 2015. Classes begin in September 2015, while the total cost for the MSc in Finance amounts to € 12,500.
By establishing this scholarship, Eurobank aims to keep alive the memory and living example of Gontikas George, one of the most charismatic and gifted people of the Greek banking system. George Gontikas was CEO of Euroependitiki Bank- now Eurobank - from 1990 until 1995, setting the foundations of a dynamic and innovative bank in Greece.
The MSc in Finance is the exclusive Program Partner of the CFA in Greece. It is designed for university candidates with a solid quantitative background wishing to launch a career in Finance and professionals who hold finance-related positions. The duration of the program is 12 months (full-time) or 24 months (part-time).
Application can be submitted online and all applicants must meet the selection criteria of the Postgraduate Program, as stated in our website.
Additionally, an honors Bachelor degree is required (8.00 or greater for Greek educational institutions, 3.5 or greater for American educational institutions and 2: 1 or more, for British educational institutions).
Academic assessment will be made by ALBA. The qualified candidates, based on their ranking, will participate in a final interview with representatives of ALBA and Eurobank, in order for the final selection to be made.
