An Advisory Board is a structured and collaborative method for organizations to engage with external advisors. It advises on strategic objectives and seeks to enhance the Business School's links with the corporate world.
The MSc in Business for Lawyers Advisory Board Members represent a diversity of business professionals relevant to the Academic Program. Members are reputable and highly acknowledged practitioners and academics with extended experience and acumen in the field of Business and Law. The contribution they provide is essential to the continued success and future development of the Program
The establishment of the Advisory Board for the MSc in Business for Lawyers is a great addition to Alba Graduate Business School, as it will enhance Alba’s transformative and innovative educational approach and at the same time provide a productive link between students, faculty and industry practitioners.

Τhe Advisory Board has held two online meetings till now.
During the first meeting, a discussion was held on the market of legal services to Business, the major trends and developments identified in this sector, the strategic positioning of our program against competition and the target market that this program should aim to serve. Moreover, the board members exchanged views and made recommendations towards the improvement of the design of the program and its content, so it helps lawyers develop the skills necessary for a successful career in the corporate world.
The second meeting took place before Easter with success. The members hailed the Advisory Board creation with great enthusiasm and reaffirmed their commitment to assist the School in ensuring that it provides stellar educational services in the area of legal studies. The Members engaged in long and fruitful conversations which focused on exploring new learning opportunities that can be offered to students.
The members agreed unanimously on the need for the potential development of internship and mentoring programs (upon availability) for students who have demonstrated exceptional performance, and they all expressed their willingness to support the initiative. They also confirmed their availability to offer guest lectures for the Program’s students in the aim to provide them with invaluable insight from their long working experience and professional practice.
Lastly, the members of the Advisory board agreed to offer and develop in common a scholarship scheme to young legal professionals working for the Advisory Members’ companies.
