The administrations of The American College of Greece and ALBA Graduate Business School have reached a preliminary agreement on an exclusive strategic collaboration in graduate business education. The goal of this collaboration is to combine both institutions' resources in pursuing an ambitious growth strategy to strengthen their leadership position in higher education in Greece and Southeast Europe.
Pending final approval by respective governing bodies, the agreement will be formalized in fall 2011, when official announcements are also expected. ACG and ALBA remain independent legal entities. The two not-for-profit organizations commit to an exclusive collaboration for the long term. As part of the collaboration, ALBA will gradually undertake the coordination of all graduate business as well as professional qualification programs, while continuing to offer executive education. Moreover, ALBA is expected to relocate to the ACG downtown campus in central Athens in January 2012. The American College of Greece and ALBA Graduate Business School will communicate and work closely with all respective stakeholders, including students, alumni, corporate and institutional partners to provide timely updates and ensure a smooth transition process.
