This year’s career forum was held virtually for the first time in Alba history for two days on October 20-21.
Our Careers & Alumni Office collaborated with the international EFMD Highered team for the virtual set up and hosting.
Apart from interviews this year, due to the virtual setting, we initiated company webinars and a chat functionality. Feedback from recruiters and students was positive. A number of students are currently going through second and third interviews with companies for specific openings; while, some participants have already accepted offers.
According to Dimitris Tsourapas, student at MSc in Entrepreneurship: "Finding a job or even landing an interview turns out to be quite demanding during a pandemic. Thankfully, the tireless work & flexibility of Alba's Career Services allowed me to participate in the 28th Virtual Career Forum and be interviewed by 8 different companies. I gained valuable experience, enhanced my network, and I am currently one of the top candidates to land a job as soon as the market conditions allow it."
