Alba and National Chengchi University, College of Commerce in Taiwan signed an exchange partnership agreement a few days ago. This is the 1st Business School from Taiwan that signed an agreement with Alba.
The College of Commerce at National Chengchi University (NCCU) is located at Taipei City and it was established in 1958. It is regarded nationally as one of the best business schools in Taiwan, and it has a wide range of business accreditation reviews which is comparable to top business schools in the world. The College of Commerce is often viewed as the flagship faculty of National Chengchi University. There are 8 departments, 1 graduate institute, and 16 research centers in the college. The International Exchange Programs at College of Commerce in NCCU was set forth in 1999 with the aim of providing incoming international students from its partner schools with the opportunities to acquire direct exposure and training within an Asian context and to nurture the aspiration in our domestic students. There are currently about 100 exchange students from over 60 top business schools in the world and about 200 international students from over 30 different countries in College of Commerce in NCCU. On 20 December 2006, National Chengchi University earned international accreditation of AACSB, and it was awarded EQUIS accreditation in April 2010. The school is affiliated among other organizations with Harvard Business School, Institute for Strategy & Competitiveness, Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and IE University School of Global and Public Affairs.
The name Chengchi (政治) means governance or politics, and refers to its founding in 1927 as a training institution for senior civil service for the Nanjing Nationalist government of China.
