During its New Year Pitta Cutting Celebration which took place at the Grande Bretagne Hotel, the International Propeller Club (Port of Piraeus) along with Alba Graduate Business School, The American College of Greece offered six scholarships (one full scholarship 100% of the tuition fees and five partial scholarships 30% of the tuition fees) for the Alba MSc in Shipping Management program.
The scholarts were selected from a list of competitive candidates, with strong academic background fulfilling all Alba admission criteria, and following an interview by an executive committee of the International Propeller Club (Port of Piraeus) which was set up for this purpose.
Real Time Graduates (a non-profit program linking graduates with the Greek shipping community) played a significant role in communicating the scholarships to interested candidates.
The scholarships awarded to the six winners by the President of The Propeller Club Piraeus Mr. George Xiradakis, the President of The American College of Greece Dr. David Horner, the two Governors and interviewers of the Propeller Club Executive Committee Ms. Katerina Potamianos and Mr. Costis Frangoulis, the Director of Alba Shipping Programs Mr. Spyros Vougious and the CEO of SRH Marine Sait Mr. Ioannis Laderos.
