2008 KOUROS AWARDS

The “Green Dreams” Competition and the “STELIOS HAJI-IOANNOU FOR THE BEST START-UP of the year” Award, organized by ALBA Graduate Business School and the Hellenic Entrepreneurship Association, have been concluded for 2008.

The Awards Ceremony, for both initiatives, took place in the context of the 2008 Kouros Awards by the Hellenic Entrepreneurship Association, on November 20, 2008. The event was attended by approximately 500 guests, including top representatives from the political and business world.

The Award for the “Green Dreams” Competition was awarded to the team that submitted the idea for the organic production of high-value products from Greek seaweed, comprising of Mr. Dimitris Platis, Mr. Nickolaos Lamprou, Mr. Emmanouil Flemetakis and Ms. Chrysanthi Kalloniati. The Award was presented to the winning team by Mr. Nikolaos Nanopoulos, CEO of EFG Eurobank Ergasias.

The “STELIOS HAJI-IOANNOU FOR THE BEST START-UP of the year” Award was presented by Mr. Stelios Haji-Ioannou himself to Mr. Brian Karey and Mr. Aris Karey for Simply Burgers S.A. Enterprise.
