Seminar title : "Maritime education, truth or dare for young professionals. An open discussion with industry experts"
The seminar is organized with the support of the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers (ICS Greek Branch) and the International Propeller Club (Piraeus).
It is an exclusive event for higher education in shipping. Ship-owners, executives, industry experts, and academics will discuss together about maritime education in Greece.
The seminar is primarily aimed at recent graduates and young professionals wishing to pursue careers as managers and executives within the shipping industry but also at all those who want to be informed about the current developments on maritime education in Greece. The discussion will mainly focus on the needs of the market in shipping managers and executives. Issues about current shortcomings of maritime and marine education in Greece and any further amalgamation between the two will be also discussed.
