Alba is proud to have hosted a pivotal session of Harvard Business School’s FIELD Global Capstone course, welcoming MBA students for a dynamic evening of cross-cultural exchange and business insight.
The event, called the Customer Interaction Debrief, took place on 14th of May at Divani Caravel Hotel. It brought together Harvard MBA students and Alba EMBA and MBA students to reflect on real-world customer interactions and explore emerging market opportunities. The session fostered meaningful dialogue and allowed for collaboration on innovation-focused projects with local relevance.
During their time in Athens, the HBS students worked closely with local companies on hands-on projects aimed at developing new products, services, or customer experiences. The Customer Interaction Debrief gave them the opportunity to share early insights and gain feedback from Alba students, whose deep understanding of the local market proved invaluable.
“Alba Graduate Business School, The American College of Greece is honored to collaborate with Harvard Business School in shaping future global business leaders,” said Panos Vlachopoulos, Vice President of Academic Affairs, ACG at his welcoming address to students. “As Europe’s oldest American-accredited college, ACG has welcomed the exchange of ideas and cross-border collaborations for over 150 years. This session exemplifies the enduring power of international learning and innovation.”
Harvard Business School’s FIELD Global Capstone is a required course for first-year MBA students that challenges them to lead and deliver value in unfamiliar contexts. In 2025, students are traveling to 15 cities around the world, working with Global Partner companies and engaging with local Business Schools like Alba to gain a deeper understanding of diverse markets.
“We are immensely grateful to American College of Greece for their partnership,” said Professor Joe Fuller, Faculty Chair of FIELD Global Capstone. “This collaboration adds immeasurable value to our students’ learning and reflects the kind of global engagement we strive to cultivate at Harvard Business School.”
The evening concluded with an informal reception with an astonishing view of the Athenian sunset over the Acropolis, giving participants the chance to continue conversations, build connections, and celebrate a shared commitment to education, entrepreneurship, and innovation.
