The SEV Center of Excellence in Creative Leadership invites you to the online conference entitled “Tradition and Innovation in a Digital World”.
The event will be held in hybrid form on January 26, 2022 from 13:00 till 16:00 and will be broadcasted via Livestream from ACG Event’s Hall.
The conference includes the presentation of the Center’s 2020-2021 applied research cycle followed by two panel discussions on the themes of tradition, innovation, and the digital world. The event aims to round up the 2020-2021 applied research and give a sneak peak of the applied research topics for 2022!
During the first part of the event, Dr. Charalampos Mainemelis, Professor of Organizational Behavior at Alba Graduate Business School, The American College of Greece, and former Director of the SEV Center of Excellence in Creative Leadership between 2018-2021, will present the findings of the Center’s 2020-2021 applied research on “Creative Tradition as a Source of Competitiveness and Innovation” among Greek companies.
The presentation will be followed by a panel discussion reflecting on the practical implications and business opportunities related to using tradition as a source of competitive advantage for Greek companies. Panel will consist of Mr. Alexandros Chatzopoulos, Director General, SEV - Hellenic Federation of Enterprises; and Professor Charalampos Mainemelis and will be moderated by Professor Kostas Axarloglou, Dean, Alba Graduate Business School, The American College of Greece.
The next part of the event will introduce the Center’s research theme for 2022 at the crossroads of creativity, agility and digital innovation with a brief overview by Dean Kostas Axarloglou, and Dr. Nikos Mylonopoulos, Associate Professor of Digital Business at Alba Graduate Business School, The American College of Greece & newly appointed Director of the SEV Center of Excellence in Creative Leadership.
To launch the conversation, a panel discussion will reflect on the experience of large companies with long-standing traditions to examine adaptability, innovation, and digital technologies in times of disruption. The panel will consist of Janis Delis, COO Merchant Services, Euronet Worldwide, Yannis Papidis, Chief Technology and Business Change Officer, Dixons South‑East Europe, Yiannis Paraschos, TITAN Group IT Director and Vasilis Trapezanoglou, Chairman of BoD Viva Bank - Founder and CEO DISC SA. The panel will be moderated by Dr. Nikos Mylonopoulos.
The event will be held in the Greek language with simultaneous translation into English.
Participants will be able to address their comments and questions to the panelists.
