IE Business School, Madrid and ALBA Graduate Business School at The American College of Greece, Athens, in collaboration with NextGen Leadership S.L, with their shared belief in innovation and entrepreneurship as an integral part of their drive towards academic excellence, warmly welcome you to our event “Family Businesses, Engines of the Economy” which will take place in Athens on May 7th, 2014

This exclusive event will discuss family venturing and the importance of the family business in the Greek market. We will also raise awareness of the importance of education for the future generations of Greek entrepreneurs. Scholars and practitioners have generally focused on assisting families in passing a business over to the next generation. In doing so, they have overlooked the real imperative behind growth and continuity:  “How do business families pass on the entrepreneurial mindset and capabilities that enable them to sustain and create new streams of wealth across many generations?”. At this event, you will learn, not only from our key note speaker but from a panel of family entrepreneurs who will be sharing their personal experiences, and dos and don´ts on how to create a successful family business.
