The SEV–Alba Scholarship Program, a cornerstone of the joint initiative “Together in Knowledge,” offers scholarships covering 50% of tuition fees for executives of SEV member companies pursuing Master’s and MBA studies at Alba.
Over the past ten years:
68 executives have benefited from the program
Scholars represent 52 small and large SEV member companies
Participants have strengthened their ability to navigate change, foster innovation, and drive meaningful impact within their organizations
The anniversary event highlighted the tangible outcomes of this collaboration while opening an important dialogue around the future of leadership in the age of Artificial Intelligence and digital transformation.
Opening remarks were delivered by Mr. Stelios Argyros, President of the ALBA Association, and Dr. Christos Koritos, Vice President of Academic Affairs at Alba Graduate Business School.
Addressing students and alumni, Mr. Argyros reflected:
“The creation of Alba many years ago now proves—through your presence here—to have been a successful ‘bold idea.’ We are grateful that you chose to study at Alba because we learned from you as well. We didn’t only teach—you allowed us the joy of learning. And even greater is the pride we feel in your careers and achievements.”
Dr. Koritos emphasized SEV’s longstanding support for executive education across industries and its trust in Alba to deliver high-quality academic training. He also highlighted Alba’s ongoing response to emerging market needs, including new academic programs in Business Analytics and new specializations in Energy Management and Health Care Management.
Ms. Dora Oikonomou, Director of Human Resources Development at Hellenic Federation of Enterprises (SEV), presented the results of the ten-year collaboration, underlining the program’s value for both scholars and their companies:
“Today gives us the opportunity to meet our scholars and hear firsthand how the SEV scholarship and their studies at Alba have influenced their professional and personal journeys. For ten consecutive years, the SEV scholarships have enabled nearly 70 executives to complete high-level postgraduate studies. Their experience confirms the value of investing in knowledge.”
