This spring, Alba students will connect with peers worldwide through live virtual dialogue
Alba Graduate Business School will participate in DePaul University’s Global Conversations program, taking place from April 27 to May 7, 2026. Through this initiative, Alba students will engage in live virtual sessions with peers from universities around the world, exploring timely issues through the exchange of different academic, cultural and personal perspectives.
Global Conversations are 90-minute interactive online sessions that bring students from leading institutions into discussion around topics of global relevance. Facilitated by teams of expert faculty, each session will provide a dynamic, interdisciplinary space for participants to explore timely and thought-provoking topics, including artificial intelligence, sustainability, and intercultural storytelling, among others.
Participants begin in a larger group before moving into virtual breakout rooms, where groups of up to 70 students engage in structured discussions that become more focused and interactive. The format creates space for the exchange of diverse perspectives in real time, while encouraging students to listen, reflect and consider how the same issue may be understood differently across cultures and contexts.
DePaul University, a leading US institution known for its innovation and global outlook, has brought together nearly 4,400 students from more than 60 countries and over 90 institutions through this initiative to date. In this context, Global Conversations reflect a growing shift in international higher education—one that places increasing value on listening, reflection, meaningful cross-cultural exchange and collaborative learning across borders.
All Alba students are welcome to register individually for any of the open sessions throughout the program. In addition, a special session in May will be co-facilitated by Alba Affiliate Professor, Elena Koltsaki, with Alba MSc in Marketing students participating as part of their coursework alongside students from the UK and Turkey.
Through initiatives like this, Alba continues to expand opportunities for students to engage internationally, broaden their perspectives and develop the skills needed to lead in an interconnected business environment.
