Alba Graduate Business School at Posidonia 2026: Strengthening Connections Across the Global Maritime Industry

June 09, 2026

Alba Graduate Business School, The American College of Greece, proudly participated in Posidonia 2026, one of the world's leading maritime exhibitions, held June 1–5 at the Metropolitan Expo in Athens. Bringing together key stakeholders from across the global shipping and maritime ecosystem, the event provided a valuable platform for dialogue, collaboration, and knowledge exchange.

Throughout the week, Alba welcomed industry professionals, executives, innovators, alumni, students, and prospective candidates to its presence at the U.S. Pavilion. The exhibition offered a unique opportunity to engage with leaders from the shipping, logistics, energy, and maritime sectors, reinforcing Alba's longstanding commitment to supporting the development of maritime leadership and business excellence.

As part of its participation, Alba was proud to support the 5th Trading in U.S. Waters Seminar: U.S. & Greek Approaches on Today's Maritime Challenges, organized by the American-Hellenic Chamber of Commerce (AmChamGR) and the North American Marine Environment Protection Association (NAMEPA), in cooperation with the U.S. Embassy in Athens.

Representing Alba and The American College of Greece, Alba Teaching Fellow Dr. Mariniki Psifia and Center of Excellence in Sustainability, Logistics and Entrepreneurship (CoESLE) Director Dr. Georgios Kokosalakis contributed to the seminar's discussions, sharing perspectives on emerging trends, industry challenges, and the evolving landscape of global maritime business.

Beyond the conference sessions, Posidonia provided an opportunity to strengthen connections within the Alba community. Alumni gathered to reconnect and exchange experiences, while students, prospective candidates, and industry representatives visited the booth to learn more about Alba's educational offerings and its close ties to the maritime sector. Alba was also pleased to welcome members of the YES Forum, continuing a dialogue focused on empowering the next generation of maritime professionals.

Posidonia 2026 once again demonstrated the importance of collaboration, innovation, and lifelong learning in shaping the future of the maritime industry. Through its participation, Alba reaffirmed its role as a bridge between academia and industry, fostering meaningful conversations that contribute to the sector's continued growth and transformation.

We extend our sincere thanks to everyone who visited our booth, participated in discussions, and shared insights throughout the week. We look forward to continuing these conversations and further strengthening our engagement with the global maritime community.
