Alba at the 16th Panorama of Entrepreneurship & Career Development

April 09, 2026

At Alba, we are committed to helping students and young professionals navigate their next steps with clarity and confidence. Our participation in initiatives such as the Panorama of Entrepreneurship & Career Development is an important part of this mission, bringing Alba’s academic perspective closer to the realities of the job market and fostering meaningful connections with the business world.

At the 16th edition of Panorama, Alba actively contributed to discussions addressing key questions around career direction, further studies, and employability. Through panels, roundtable discussions, and exchanges with leading professionals, we engaged with students and graduates as they shape their future paths.

Choosing the right next step: MBA or MSc?

Christos Koritos, Professor of Marketing and Associate Dean of Academic Programs at Alba, participated in the panel, “What comes after graduation: Master’s degree, certifications, or direct entry into the job market?”

Sharing Alba’s perspective, he explained that MBA and specialized MSc programs offer comparable academic value, but are designed for different audiences, but designed for different audiences. MBA programs are typically suited to professionals with managerial experience who want to strengthen their leadership and business knowledge, while specialized MSc degrees are often the right choice for recent graduates or early-career professionals looking to build expertise in a specific field.

A key message from Alba during the discussion was that there is no single path that fits everyone. The decision to continue studying or enter the job market depends on each individual’s goals, level of clarity, and career direction. We also highlighted the importance of gaining practical experience early on through internships, volunteering, and team projects, helping students make more informed decisions.

Standing out in the job market: strategy and mindset

Effie Zachara represented Alba in the roundtable discussion, “How to Stand Out in the Job Market: Preparation, Strategy, Mindset.”

During the session, Alba focused on how students can prepare strategically for the job market and develop the mindset needed for long-term growth. The discussion covered the importance of self-awareness, building a results-oriented CV, understanding market expectations through the analysis of job postings, and preparing for interviews in a way that clearly demonstrates the value candidates bring.
