Alba Graduate Business School is pleased to announce a new student exchange partnership with PAR University of Applied Sciences in Rijeka, Croatia.
The collaboration offers Alba students the opportunity to spend a semester at a business-focused institution on the Adriatic coast, experience a different academic and cultural environment, and broaden their perspectives through an educational approach that places particular emphasis on practical learning and entrepreneurship.
PAR University of Applied Sciences is a private higher education institution specializing in business management and entrepreneurship.
Originally established as a business education and consulting company in 2007, PAR became a higher education institution in 2011, launching its first bachelor's program in Business Management in 2012, followed by its graduate program in 2020.
With a strong emphasis on practice-oriented education, PAR combines academic study with organized professional practice throughout the year, helping students connect classroom learning with real-world business experience. As a member of the European University for Dual Studies (EU4Dual) alliance, PAR also participates in a wider European network dedicated to strengthening the links between higher education and the professional world.
At the graduate level, PAR offers a Specialist Graduate Professional Study in Business Management, with three specializations: Financial Management, Management of Small and Medium Enterprises, and Sports Management.
In addition to semester-long exchanges, the partnership provides Alba students with opportunities to participate in PAR's international short programs, including its well-known Sail & Learn International Summer School, a two-week program combining business education with sailing along the Adriatic coast. Students can also join the INCASO International Carnival School, a seven-day winter program focusing on marketing, branding, and event management.
Located in the center of Rijeka, Croatia's largest port city and home to one of Europe's biggest carnivals, PAR offers students the opportunity to experience a vibrant cultural environment alongside their academic studies.
Through this new collaboration, Alba further expands its international network and the range of academic and cultural experiences available to its students, reinforcing its commitment to globally oriented business education and learning opportunities that extend beyond the traditional classroom.
