Invitation to the Second Roundtable of the BRIDGE Project
Bridges for Inclusion & Participation
A Dialogue on Gender-Based Violence, Institutions,
and Civil Society
Tuesday 16 June 2026, 19:00–21:00
Venue: ACG Plaka Building, Ipitou 17, Plaka
We are pleased to invite you to the second thematic roundtable of the BRIDGE project (Building Responsible Institutional Dialogue for Governance and Empowerment), dedicated to gender-based violence and the challenges surrounding its prevention, protection, and institutional response.
Gender-based violence remains a pressing social issue with significant personal, social, and institutional consequences. The roundtable aims to foster dialogue and collaboration among civil society organizations, institutional actors, and the academic community, highlighting the need for effective prevention, protection, and support policies, as well as stronger cooperation among stakeholders.
The BRIDGE project seeks to strengthen the meaningful participation of Civil Society Organizations in public policy-making processes. Through a digital platform of Open Educational Resources (OER), six thematic roundtables, and a series of podcasts, the project promotes dialogue among civil society, public institutions, and academia. Its outcomes will include policy recommendations and a Best Practices Handbook aimed at enhancing collaboration and democratic participation.
