Short Bio

Dr. Stefanos Zarkos is a Professor in the Practice of Finance at Alba, with extensive teaching experience in Corporate Finance, Financial Management, Treasury Management, Financial Statement Analysis, and Strategy. 

His research focuses on the application of real options in management and the development of decision-making techniques to address challenges commonly encountered in Corporate Finance and Strategy. Dr. Zarkos has also undertaken consulting work and produced market reports across various sectors. He has delivered executive seminars in Finance and Strategy to companies such as Philip Morris, Vodafone, TITAN, Eurobank, National Bank of Greece, Public, Novo Nordisk, Abbott, PepsiCo, Roche, Sunlight, and others. He served as Associate Dean for Academic Programs at Alba from 2018 to 2023 and currently serves as the Academic Director of the MSc in Finance and the Alba MBA programs.
