Prior to DeepRunner, Mike was at Amazon Web Services (AWS), where he led development of AI and IoT cloud services powering millions of connected devices globally. Before AWS, Mike was at Samsung, where he pioneered autonomous vehicle systems now deployed in millions of cars on the road. Mike started his career as a Silicon Valley serial entrepreneur, generating more than $200 million in successful exits.

Mike holds a PhD in Computer Science from UC Santa Cruz and an MBA from UC Berkeley. He regularly teaches graduate-level courses, bringing real-world AI and entrepreneurship insights to the next generation of technologists.
