Psychologist, Neuropsychologist & Co-Founder of BPSS
Katerina Chatzikallia Kouniaki, MSc is a psychologist and neuropsychologist with more than 20 years of clinical, counselling and organizational experience, with a particular interest in mental health at work, people development, leadership and communication.
She is co-founder of Business Psychological Solutions & Support (BPSS), through which she designs and delivers psychoeducation and consulting services on workplace mental health for organizations and businesses.
She holds a degree in Psychology from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, together with master’s degrees in Cognitive Psychology & Neuropsychology and in Advanced Computer Systems – Intelligent Systems / Artificial Intelligence, both from the same university, and an MSc in Human Resource Management, Leadership & Communication from the University of Western Macedonia. She has also completed a Diploma in Negotiation at the Athens University of Economics and Business.
She collaborated for several years with the Child Psychiatry and Adult Psychiatry Departments of Hippokrateio General Hospital of Thessaloniki, working on psychological and neuropsychological assessment, psychometric testing, counselling and research, and has trained in several psychotherapeutic approaches as well as in group psychotherapy. Since 2002, she has been in private practice with adults, adolescents, children and families, and from 2005 to 2015 she headed a unit of the “Help at Home” programme of the Municipality of Thessaloniki.
Her work focuses on employee wellbeing, the prevention of work stress, burnout and psychosocial risks, psychological safety, conflict management and the empowerment of managers and teams. She has taken part in research studies, conferences and publications in psychology and neuropsychology, and is the author of two psychology books published by Patakis Editions: “Τι να κάνω – Τι να μην κάνω για να μεγαλώσω σωστά τα παιδιά μου” (2019) and “Μην το σκέφτεσαι” (2022).
