Spyros Theodoropoulos, a distinguished guest of the Executive MBA program at Alba  and the Office of Advancement and Alumni of ACG, recently shared his invaluable insights with alumni and students.

Drawing from his extensive entrepreneurial experience, Mr. Theodoropoulos discussed the critical role of leadership during times of crisis, emphasizing empathy and the human factor as essential components of decision-making and crisis management.

 

The event opened with remarks from Professor Kyriakos Kyriakopoulos, Academic Director of the Executive MBA program, who underscored the importance of leadership and lifelong learning in navigating challenging situations. The discussion was skillfully moderated by Mr. Kostas Axarloglou, Dean of the Alba Association.

During his talk, Mr. Theodoropoulos highlighted the need to create a work environment where employees feel secure and valued. He stressed the importance of transparency and participatory governance to ensure decisions are understood and embraced by all stakeholders.

He also emphasized the value of authenticity, simplicity, and clear communication as hallmarks of effective leadership. Innovation, adaptability, and teamwork were identified as key drivers of success, achieved through a combination of talent, effort, education, and collaboration.

The event concluded with an engaging Q&A session, where attendees shared their thoughts and posed questions on topics such as human resource management, innovation, entrepreneurship, and leadership.
