RCI 2009 (1st HALF) - A year of crisis?

Wednesday, 19/11/2008

We invite you to participate in the 1st round (first half) of the Recruitment Confidence Index 2009.

The RCI for the 2nd half of 2008 was conducted during the period May-June 2008 and concluded in a continuing, but rather contained optimism in comparison to the previous rounds. However, since then, we all have witnessed a dramatic sway and rather swift change in the conditions that govern the economic as well as the social environment globally. This “change” was rather hard to predict and even more unforeseeable have been the consequences. Hence, it is of vital significance and interest to take record of the current activity and situational conditions as well as of the expectations concerning the 1st half of the forthcoming year.

RCI has been established as the Barometer for the Greek Labor Market. The Index has proven to be a powerful business and management decision tool. The main objective of the survey, which takes place every 6 months, is to explore the companies’ perceptions regarding their recruitment processes and methodologies as well as the market trends.

The sample has been solidified above 200 over time (Greek and Multinational companies), resulting to a total of more than 450 companies and organizations since the beginning of RCI in Greece (2006).  We believe – thanks to You – that this sample will constantly grow giving each time an even more representative snapshot of the Greek Labor Market.

The results of the 1st half of 2009 will be announced on January. The 2009 RCI is conducted with the support of ECDL Hellas, and in cooperation with SEV Hellenic Federation of Enterprises
