University of Kent MBA students and University of Applied Sciences in Bremen MBA students spent a week at Alba recently, experiencing the learning programs we designed for them.

Students had the chance to visit Lavrion Technological & Cultural Park and several unique Greek companies such as: Nanophos, APIVITA, Hellenic Petroleum, Kokotos Estate Winery and to network with start-up companies at THEA incubator and at a special session organized at Alba downtown campus. Both MBA groups were international with students coming from more than 30 different countries.

The learning experience was further enhanced by organizing a special networking workshop with Ms. Maria Moragiannis where MBA students from UKBS, UASB and Alba came together and practiced their elevator pitching and networking role playing.

Alba faculty lectures helped the students to feel familiar with the Greek business environment while the visit to Hellenic Federation of Enterprises - SEV and the presentation by Dr. Yiannos Mitsos, Senior Advisor, Development Policies was very enlightening on the financial situation of the Greek companies, the challenges and the opportunities they face.

Students of both schools experienced the Greek “Filoxenia”, enjoyed traditional Greek food at local taverns and took a glimpse of the famous sunset at Sounio Poseidon Temple.
