President’s statement on the war in Ukraine

The invasion of Ukraine by Russian forces has led to the deaths and displacement of thousands and untold destruction. The American College of Greece is maintaining close contact with our Ukrainian students and offering any assistance possible. We recognize that this conflict is placing incredible strain on these students and their families, as well as on our Russian students, who bear no responsibility for the actions of their government.

This week, ACG’s Institute of Global Affairs will host an open discussion on the situation in Ukraine, inviting all students to participate. In this moment of global concern, we remain focused on pursuing ACG’s mission to build an ethos of mutual respect, to foster the practice of sincere and open dialogue and to promote peace and justice within the framework of Hellenic and Western values.
