Congratulations to the 2009 ALBA Graduates!

The 2009 ALBA Graduation Ceremony took place on October 8, at the Athens College Theatre. This year, 81 MSc and 116 MBA degrees were awarded to the graduating students of the ALBA Programs: MSc in Business for Lawyers, MSc in Strategic Human Resource Management, MSc in Finance, ALBA-EFG Eurobank Ergasias MBA in Financial Services, Full Time MBA, Professional MBA and MBA in Shipping.

During the Ceremony, Mr. Nikos Ebeoglou, Cairman of the Board of ALBA, presented the Field Consulting Project awards to the ALBA-EFG Eurobank Ergasias MBA in Financial Services teams for the projects: “Individual Segmentation” and “Customer Satisfaction”, as well as to the MBA team for the project: “Designing Balanced Scorecard”, assigned by COCO-MAT S.A. Mr. Ebeoglou also presented the Special Business Plan Award to the MBA team ‘AQUA PHAGE SOLUTION Co.’ that represented ALBA at the European Business Plan of the Year Competition 2009.

This year’s keynote speaker was Mrs. Kitty Kyriacopoulos, Honorary Chairman of S&B INDUSTRIAL MINERALS S.A. whose speech was concentrated on business ethics. In particular, Mrs. Kyriacopoulos advised the graduates to conduct business in line with their ethical set of values, to contribute to the overall good of their country by being honest when declaring income, being honest to themselves, to their family and to fellow citizens. Moreover, she encouraged them to use their imagination and creativity in a positive way, to show respect to others and to have HONOUR, HONESTY and DECENCY as their motto.

The Ceremony was concluded with a short address on behalf of the ALBA Alumni Association by Ms. Olympia Anastasopoulou, Alumna of the 7^th Class of the Full Time MBA, Attorney- at- Law and Senior Advisor at Newton Capital Partners L.P.
