15th anniversary round of MBA Field Consulting Projects

Wednesday, 29/08/2007

In 1992 ALBA became the first graduate business school in Greece to have teams of MBA students deliver practical value to a select group of Greek companies, through its Field Consulting Projects (FCPs). Since then, ALBA has run 150 projects, for 80 companies, deploying more than 300,000 hours of student work. This year sees the 15th Anniversary round of ALBA MBA FCPs, and ALBA received 23 very strong proposals, all of which were innovation-oriented, challenging and of strategic importance for the companies involved.

The final presentations for the ALBA 2007 Field Consulting Projects took place on Thursday 6th September. Since May, seven teams of full-time MBA students had been working to deliver client value in a wide range of markets. Projects ranged from market analysis for fast moving consumer goods, to benchmarking black economic empowerment in South Africa.  Two student teams carried out projects in Africa for a close corporate partner of ALBA, Novo-Nordisk, visiting Ghana, Kenya, South Africa and Morocco for field research.

The 15th Anniversary of the ALBA FCPs, concluded on September 6, 2007 with the presentation of the projects that had been completed by the ALBA students. These are the following:
