Short description

Development of an executive development program on eBusiness

The project aimed to promote the integration of candidate enlargement countries through the application of a methodology for devising and putting into action eBusiness strategy in SMEs and a series of executive education programs customized for SME managers in Eastern Europe. ENLARGE involved transferring eBusiness and executive education expertise to five Eastern European candidate Enlargement countries, namely Slovenia, Romania, Bulgaria, Cyprus and Poland. Applications of the eStrategy methodology was written up as case studies for the benefit of the broader region as well as a  series of executive development programs customized for SME management in Eastern Europe were developed and piloted. By attending these programs, managers : identified the opportunities and challenges in adopting eBusiness technologies and processes, learned the eBusiness strategy development methodology and observed and experimented with eBusiness solution demonstrations.
