Joining forces: Alba and Workathlon offer MSc in Tourism scholarships to eligible Workathlon members

We are happy to announce that Workathlon and Alba Graduate Business School join forces in offering three (3) scholarships to eligible Workathlon members to attend Alba’s MSc in Tourism Management as of the academic year 2021-22.

The joint scholarships consist of: one full scholarship (100% of tuition) and two half scholarships (50% of tuition each) and will be granted based on both academic and financial criteria.

The scholarships are part of an effort to support the resuscitation and growth of the tourism industry, which although severely afflicted by the recent COVID-19 pandemic remains, nevertheless, an ever-promising field that is expected to bloom again once restrictions ease and travel returns to near normal. In addition, the scholarships are offered in the aim to provide more people with access to high-quality business education and knowledge as well as the adaptation skills and the mental agility needed to thrive in a volatile era; ultimately the scholarships aim at helping to promote the development of the Greek economy and domestic society.

The Alba MSc in Tourism Management meets the growing needs of the tourism industry to shape high-skilled professionals, so that they can assume leading roles in the management of tourism organizations. The program blends specialist knowledge and skills with advanced managerial competencies and offers local and global internship opportunities that increase its graduates’ employability thanks to Alba’s strategic collaboration with key tourism players. It is now available to tourism professionals around Greece and internationally via synchronous, distance learning blended with face-to-face workshops to support networking and community building.

Scholarships are valid for the October 2021 intake for the MSc in Tourism Management and candidates may submit their application no later than September 20. Basic selection criteria include: Bachelor's Degree from a Greek or International University, fluency in English, high academic performance while economic & social criteria will be taken under consideration.
